That SF Bridge

At the end of last month we made our way to the City by the Bay, and what a fine day it was. Beautiful skies, fog in the distance, street parking was a breeze, and I got to shoot with … Continue reading

Lost at sea!

It’s feels too hot to function (melodramatic, I know) and I’ve been inside all day! I’ve just been thinking about the beach and the refreshing ocean breeze. I suppose this is a sign that I need to deal with the … Continue reading

A house I love- in tones.

A house I love- in tones.

One of the best parts of my neighborhood in the Midtown part of Sacramento are the variety of houses that spread through the streets. Everyone (mostly- with the exception of a some complexes and buildings) is different, which not only provides something different and/or interesting to look, but it also makes me think about what kind of house I want (when I grow up 😉 ), and what details I would like to see everyday. For instance, before it got too hot, I was walking everyday for about an hour or so… down different streets, different alleys, different directions…. basically walking while always being interested in what I was looking it. I took this shot not only because of the lines, the triangles, and the texture, but because of the charming brick fireplace to give an otherwise plain home (mind you, this shot was taken from the alley way- the the front is much more cute than the side). I think bricks just make a home better no matter what. Hehe.

This was another shot from my Canon EOS rebel 2000 film camera. It was developed, then scanned and edited digitally.
